Review our open positions on our careers page and send us your resume and why you’re interested in working for Movable Ink.
Recruiter Screening
If your experience aligns, our recruiting team will set up a time to speak with you either over the phone or via Zoom to learn more about your background and career goals. The recruiter will talk a little bit more about the position you applied for, as well as how our interviewing process works. We’ll set expectations, answer any questions, and determine the best way to move forward.
Hiring Manager Interview
The next step for most of our interviewing processes is an introductory call (Zoom or phone)with your potential new boss. They will go over more specific details of the role and what will be expected of you. Be prepared to discuss how your background and qualifications may compliment the team.
Team Virtual Interview and Focus Interviews
If the Hiring Manager Interview goes well, we will invite you to have virtual video interviews with the larger department leadership team, as well as team members or Inkers in other departments you may be working with. Each interview will have a specific “focus area”, which concentrates on a specific outcome or competency of the role. Depending on the position, we may also conduct a Chronological Interview - this is a deep dive into your work history and is typically an hour long. If this is a part of your interviewing process, your recruiter will prepare you for this step.
Functional Assessment
Most positions at Movable Ink have a job-specific functional final step. This may be a presentation, thought exercise, coding exercise or writing sample. Most presentations usually revolve around Movable Ink; since you don’t work here (yet), your Recruiter may schedule a prep call with an Inker to ensure you have all the information you need.
References
Before we are ready to make an offer, we will check references for most roles. Your Recruiter will be in touch and will reach out to your references to schedule a time to speak. Your references will only need to give us 10-15 minutes of their time. Either your recruiter or your potential new manager will speak with your references. We ideally like to speak with two to three; we use this step in our process to confirm all of the great things we learned about you in our interviewing process.
Offer
First of all, congratulations! We’re so excited for you to join the team! Your Recruiter will send you all of the digital paperwork you need to review and sign.
Feedback
We try our best to provide feedback during every step in the process. If you are not selected for a particular role after speaking with a member of the Recruiting team, we will be in touch to let you know. If you are invited to advance to the next step in the interviewing process, you’ll be informed as soon as possible.
If you have not yet heard from a member of the Recruiting team, there is a chance that we have not yet received feedback from the Hiring Teams. Feel free to reach out to your Recruiter and they’ll be in touch with any potential updates.
